Here’s how to appeal your SASSA SRD R370 grant if your application has been declined
1.First visit srd.sassa.gov.za/appeals/ when you reach the page, click on the green button that will take you to where you can enter your South African ID number and phone number.
2.After entering the required information, click on the ‘Send Pin’ button. The SASSA organization team will then send a pin. Enter the pin you received on the page and click the submit button.
3.Now you will be able to provide the reason why your R370 SASSA grant was declined.
Then, the SASSA organization team will check if you qualify for the SASSA R370 grant. If you qualify, you will receive it the following month and ensure your bank account has less than R600, or else you won’t receive the payment for that month.

- Log in using your ID and application ID.
- Look for the option to update your phone details.
- Follow the instructions to enter your new phone number.
- You might receive requests for additional information or proofs via SMS or email.

- Bank Details Pending: They got your application, but you didn’t give banking info or choose how to get paid. Go to the SASSA website to fix it.
- Reapplication In Progress: You haven’t submitted a new application.
- Approved Period: This happens for specific months. For example, if it says April is pending, they’re still checking your application for April.
- Approved: Your application got approved for a certain month. Look for your payment date in the “payday” field.
- Declined: SASSA did not approve your application for a certain month. If you disagree, you can appeal
- Canceled: They canceled your R370 grant. You can reinstate your grant by visiting the SASSA OFFICIAL website.
